Blair is in his first year with HDI and joins the team after more than 20 years as a high school coach and English teacher. Blair spent nine years as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at his alma mater, St. Francis DeSales High School in Columbus Ohio. Under his leadership, the Stallions reached the State Final Four in 2006, 2007, and 2009. In 2013, Blair moved to the Dayton Ohio area to take over as head coach at Kettering Fairmont High School. The Firebirds made back to back District Championship game appearances in 2018 and 2019 before he stepped down to spend more time with his growing family. Last season, Blair served as an Assistant Coach at Centerville High School where the Elks finished as the Division I State Runner-Up. Blair currently lives in Springboro Ohio with his wife Andi and his daughters Adlee and Ava. He is thrilled to be joining the team at HDI and looks forward to exploring a new way to interact with and continue to grow in the game that he loves.
